A WONDERFUL LETTER FROM HEAVEN TO MUMMY  Mommy, I am in Heaven now, sitting on Jesus' lap. He loves me and cries with me; for my heart has been broken. I so wanted to be your little girl. I don't quite understand what has happened. I was so excited when I began realizing my existence, because my existence started from conception when I was formed in your womb. I was in a dark, yet comfortable place. I saw I had fingers and toes. I was pretty far along in my developing, yet not near ready to leave my surroundings. I spent most of my time thinking or sleeping. Even from my earliest days, I felt a special bonding between you and me. Sometimes I heard you crying and I cried with you. Sometimes you would yell or scream, then cry. I heard Daddy yelling back. I was sad, and hoped you would be better soon. I wondered why you cried so much. One day you cried almost all of the day. I hurt for you, maybe you didn’t expect me, but God sent me to you as a special gift,

BAD HABITS OF CHURCH MEMBERS/GOERS DURING CHURCH SERVICES

CHRISTIANS' BAD HABITS DURING CHURCH SERVICE I have noticed with utter dismay some bad habits practiced by some Christians, even during Church services, and even inside the Church building. These habits fall into different categories. Some are appalling, some disgusting, some funny, some unthinkable, some sinful, some are, some are, think of it; the list is endless! What do you make of someone doing 'Notice me' kind of habit, even in the church?! Come to think of it, someone who is just trying to show-off his brand-new latest iPone6 in the Church, what does the person want to achieve? A lady trying to 'gum body' with a guy in the church, for what? A guy 'toasting' a girl in the church, and even during church service, what relationship does he want to have? A politician coming to the Church to canvass for vote from church members, are we on the campaign ground? A school proprietor trying to 'seduce' church members to enroll their childr

OPEN HEAVENS DAILY DEVOTION - FRIDAY 24TH APRIL, 2015

Friday April 24, 2015 SIN: CONSEQUENCES & CURE Memorise: For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 3:23 Read: Ezekiel 18:20-24 20 The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him.  21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.  22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.  23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?  24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the a

Thursday April 23, 2015 SECRETS OF ANSWERED PRAYERS Memorise: If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7 Read: John 16:23-27 23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. 24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. 25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. 26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: 27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. Message Although prayer is at the very heart of our relationship with God, not all prayers are answered by Him. There is therefore a need to understand the secr

SOWING BEFORE REAPING Memorise:   Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  Galatians 6:7 Read: Galatians 6:7-10 7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith. Message Our God is great. Not only is He great, He is the greatest. He possesses all wisdom, riches and glory. The plan of God and His delight is for you to prosper (3 John 2). Prosperity here implies abundance, fullness and sufficiency. One thing we need to know is that prosperity does not come by speaking in tongues, but by the wisdom of sowing and reaping. At a pa
